Increasing of the capacities for machining of the welding parts

To cover increasing inquiries for machining big-sized machined parts we are going to install following technologies for milling, drilling and machining:

• 5-axes milling machine CNC FS100 S/A3 – starting in May 2018
• WRD 130 HUI 50 Q CNC – starting in June 2018
• FMW 160 CNC – starting 4th quarter 2018

Another plant in Nitra opened

Because of the the need to expand production capacities in the production of cabinets, we are opening a new production plant in Nitra on Novozámocká Street in the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Engineer Training Days for „Tatrapoint“

During the 24th – 25^th of January we made training of engineers for Tatrapoint typewriters. The training was held in Pretoria in South Africa with collaboration of the Blind SA agency. The course attended 12 engineers from different schools and companies. 3 of them were blind.

New machines for Toolshop

To make production in our toolshop more efficient we decided to install two new CNC machines in January. CNC machines are working with Heidenhein control system TNC 530: MCV 1050 size 1.050 x 600 x 600 MCV 1200 size 1.200 x 730 x 650.

Support of measuring capacities

In order to increase capacity and operability of CNC measurement of stamped and machined parts,  we have obtained the Romer Absolute 7250 SEI - 4 3D measuring arm with a range of 2,500 mm and an accuracy of 0,04 mm. We use it in the tool shop, in the stamping shop and in the inspection of welded parts.

Cleaning of stamping parts and others

We installed and activated an ultrasonic cleaning line at our plant in Vráble. We are offering its capacities to the companies which need to clean, degrease or passivate their parts, and have not decided to buy the cleaner yet.

Tatrapoint in Sao Paolo

During the June 1st – 4^th we attended an exhibition in Sao Paolo (Brazil) with our typewriting machine for the blind. Rea Tech is the biggest trade focused on facilities and adaptive technologies for handicapped in South America.

The production division of components from aluminium and stainless steel was affiliated with Production division of sheet metal assemblies into Production division of complex assemblies from sheet metal and profiles

ŠVEC a SPOL introduces sister company Kovmech

TruLaser 5030 fiber

Within the framework of the investment plans, mid-2015, the TruLaser 5030 fiber was installed to process effectively thin sheet metal with a 5 kW power source. Thanks to its dynamic drive, it uses high speed of fiber-powered and energy-efficient TruDisk 5001 laser.
The TruStore rack system has been added to ensure smooth flow of material in the production.

Construction of a new production hall for KOVMECH

The sister company KOVMECH has started the construction of a new production hall for pressing of steel and aluminium parts with a thickness of 0,7 – 3 mm.
