About company

Company ŠVEC a SPOL s.r.o. was established at 1993 as private company with no part of foreign capital. It started its activities in the area of engineering, constructing and production of shearing and working tools, jet forms and jigs, locksmith-production, metalworking and press works.

The target of the partners was keeping and developing of tool production in Nitra region. The company started to work with 11 employees and at present it employs 165 workers. In the company are working the most competent and vintage specialist with practical skills.

Year 1998 was an important point in the company's development. In this period the management of the company decided to concentrate on the area of developing car production in Slovakia. It is a very difficult area and for the company it meant to adapt to customers, regarding speed, volume and quality of work.

We focus on keeping required terms and providing high quality for reliability and lifetime of tools and forms produced by our company. Our customers are producers of parts for car industry and the main activity become constructing and producing of tools and jigs for these customers

Important parts of our production are locksmith- and metalworking works. Apart from others, the production schedule includes the production of mechanical parts, cases for electronic equipments (acoustic, ultrasonic and others).

From its existence, ŠVEC a SPOL s.r.o. deals also with development and production of mechanical braillers for the Blind. We are the only producer of this product in Slovakia and at present we belong to significant producers in Europe and in the world. The machine has got a simple service, quality print of script, low noisiness in low weight and high reliability. By these characters, the machine is as good as a foreign competition and so we can go to foreign markets as well. Today, we export over 90% of this production into 25 countries of 5 continents of the world.
